Miami Towers
Miami Towers is a 10-storey apartment building that was constructed on the corner of Beaconsfield Parade and Wright Street in Middle Park in the late 1960s. The architecture of the building, the type of housing it provided, and the method of construction were all revolutionary at the time.
Miami towers, and other similar high-rise buildings in Middle Park, Saint Kilda, South Yarra, Armidale, and Toorak were the work of a successful collaboration between Sol Sapir, Architect, Nathan Beller, Real Estate Agent and Martin Sachs, Builder. On completion the building was awarded a prize for outstanding architecture by the then South Melbourne City Council.
In 2014, Neil Clerehan, himself a highly regarded architect of his generation, wrote an article in The Weekly Review honouring Sol Sapir and his collaboration with Beller and Sachs. Link to Neil Clerehan Article!

A community of 36 households sharing a single building also have a shared interest in issues relevant to their enjoyment of their home and of the building. Buildings of Miami Towers size and age inevitably have a significant need for ongoing maintenance and repairs.
The Owners Corporation Committee will from time to time want to share news items which they believe to be of interest to residents and owners. Maintenance and repairs can sometimes result in a disruption to the day-to-day operation of building, for example, the lift might be out of action or there might be a disruption to the water supply.
The OCC will do their best to keep residents and owners informed about issues of importance to them. Our building manager will do his best to alert every resident of any planned disruption. However, to do that we need the contact details of all residents and owners, in particular we need your email address so that any item of news or an alert of a disruption can be quickly broadcast. Complete the form below to register to receive News and Alerts.
